Artist Talk: Valerie Hird
The Dorothy Alling Memorial Library presents the Burlington artist in a conversation about her international collaborative project, "Genesis Tree NY." More than 4,000 handmade origami forms were created and sent to the Nohra Haime Gallery in New York City by individuals from eight countries, 11 U.S. states and 28 cities; they were assembled into a 10-by-14-foot "tree."
